haha I bought a book of second class stamps the other day and it cost SIX QUID!!!

Xmas Hmm

I sent them all 2nd class and only one was over seas.

Should have taken mum to get me the stamps, I think she can still get them at last years prices as she is a pensioner and gets DLA and one of my friends said that there is special rates for people on some benefits, wish I had known that before I coughed up enough to finance a small nation Xmas Grin

Think yourself lucky, the postage for the cards and gifts we sent to Australia (dh is Australian) was close to the price of a weekly shop, and I had to queue for half a bloody hour for the privelage!

I posted something to OZ the other week and I thought she was telling my the price of a flight Xmas Grin I understand that something going to another country will cost a fair bit but to go a few miles down the road is ridiculous
