how to attach garlands to banister?

Just that really. I have a 6 foot prelit garland which isnt long enough to roll around the spindles so will have to be attached straight iykwim. Is there little hooks or something I could stick in underneath?

Little screw in L shaped hooks?? I use plastic cable ties on mine, thread them from the garland and then round spindles

I have been sitting in front of this laptop too long - I read the title as attaching garlands to a HAMSTER

I use green coloured gardening wire. Seems to do the job well enough and is well hidden.

Use ribbons at intervals along the garland, loop each one around the garland and then tie each around a spindle. The bow becomes part of the decoration, won't harm your paintwork and can be used again.
