BestFriend loves cooking and is an aspiring Great British Baker Off contestant! Can anyone recommend a kitcheny type gadget for less than £50. Preferably something unusual but useful! Is any one on my wavelength?! Help would be appreciated! Xmas Smile

A decent stick blender?

A fancy piping set? Cookie gun?

Do they have a kitchen blow torch yet? Here's one from Lakeland: blowtorch

A tilting turntable?
Unusual cake tins e.g. Silverwood or Wilton?

How about a beautiful cake stand?

Or some Lakeland vouchers

I've had a similar problem! But recently found this website - it has some great ideas perfect for this kind of thing. Loads of kitcheny gadgets! Try this: www.asseenonthetv.co.uk/kitchen-cooking-gadgets-as-seen-on-stephen-fry-gadget-man and also this: www.asseenonthetv.co.uk/kitchen-gadgets-christmas-gift-guide
Hope this is helpful! :)

Brilliant! Thanks for the inspiration, Taffeta that cake stand is beautiful and thanks AndiMac for the Lakeland tip, some good stuff there. 56Jan, the Stephen fry thing was just the sort of quirky stuff I'm looking for, i'm not at all gadgety, so good tip. I think I'll go for the rolling pin from here It's got disks on so you get exactly the right thickness for your pastry...genius!! Many Thanks! Xmas Smile
