I feel horrible now re presents

We saw niece and nephew at the weekend and won't be seeing them again before Christmas so we exchanged presents.

They have bought our two kids so much stuff - I feel like a right Scrooge - 2 massive bags of stuff and not cheap either as I know one thing is a big tub of Lego and one is a peppa pig thing and there's lots more.

Dniece is 1 and dnephew is 2. We spent about £15 or so on them. My kids are 5 and 2 if that makes a difference.

Just feel guilty

it doesnt matter, as long as you thought about what you bought and the kids will like it that is all that matters. plus yours are at the tons of stuff stage I'm afraid

It really doesn't matter and I'm sure they'll love what you've bought them.

I've bought a few bigger things for my niece but that was because I found some good deals for things I thought she'd like. I'd hate for my brother to be worried he hadn't bought as much, you've nothing to feel guilty about :)

It doesn't/shouldn't matter at all. Fwiw, I think you've spent the right amount. That's what I spend on my nephews and nieces (aged 1-14).

That sounds fine . My budget for nieces and nephews is £15.
You don't know if they managed to get good deals on what they bought . Thanks to bargain Christmas threads on here my £15 has gone very far .

That sounds fine to me. My budget for our young nieces is £15, I just buy things over the last few months when I see a good deal on something I know they'll like. This year they've got 3 things each as I've found things at a good price.

My older niece has more spent on her but then we normally go out and do something together as she's 23!
