Do I go for white or multi-coloured?

Neither, what you need is warm white

HazeltheMcWitch · 06/12/2012 00:34

Oh yes, seconded - warm white indeed.

Marrow · 06/12/2012 00:38

The ones I'm looking at are warm white but so are my tree lights and indoor lights. Just wondering if if I should live dangerously and have the coloured ones or stick with what I have always liked!

Warm white. I also like blue lights.

juneybean · 06/12/2012 00:38

Just don't got for blue, a house near here has blue and I felt like I was going to get a suntan if I stood in front of them too long.

juneybean · 06/12/2012 00:38

go*

FlourFace · 06/12/2012 00:39

In fact, go for blue!

FlourFace · 06/12/2012 00:39

You're wrong!

Marrow · 06/12/2012 00:41

I agree, not keen on blue. Always feels very clinical.

I have multicoloured ones :)

Cahoootz · 06/12/2012 00:55

There is nothing wrong with multicoloured,

Are you going for flashing lights? If so, buy ones with a proper switch to change the function. Not ones like these. Read the one star reviews and you will see what I mean.

I bought the same type and had the same problem as the reviewers. Luckily my Electricien BIL fixed them to be constantly on.
