I don't know anyone else in real life who has one, but it's pretty much the only remnant of my childhood Christmasses that I have kept for my own children.

Do you have one? If so, what's it like?

Oh. My. God.
I thought I was alone!
Yes, we have a sweetie tree.
Its a branch, covered in glitter, put in a plant pot, that we hang quality streets from.
It also was a tradition from my childhood.

I hope not, my sister's a bitch Grin

Mine if a branch with a bit of glitter snow on it, with sweets (Roses this year, and little choc balls) dangling off on thread. They twinkle and twirl Grin

Am looking for some little candy canes to hook on there as well!

Oh, how lovely that there is another sweetie tree out there :)

Good god no. It would last about half an hour in this house.

Love the idea, but what BahSaid!

The trick there is to make sure there is PLENTY of other chocolate in the house Grin

The kids get to devour the sweetie tree sweets when we take the decorations down. It softens the blow!

I had a lollipop tree a few years back (IIRC from Lakeland) .
It was a card ,pyramid shape but thinner. With numbers (1-24) and holes in it to push the lolly sticks to look like 'branches'

(And I had to buy 2, one for each DC)
