Best website for photo calendars?

I made a photo calendar last year with vistaprint and got a bit burned by the extra costs Angry. Could anyone recommend a cheaper alternative this year? The photos are the thing so I am not too worried about overall design/paper quality etc... thanks!

Snapfish pretty good. Code xmas3 will get you money off depending on how much you spend. Postage is on top though at the end.

Also saw in boots a make your own calendar thing, think it was £8 for calendar with slots for normal prints and stickers to add comments.

Tesco photo have them half-price at the minute and they're quite nice.

Just received 3 from photobox ('twas a Groupon deal so worth checking that out) very impressed with size, quality and speedy delivery

TeamBacon · 05/12/2012 16:32

I like photobox - good quality on black background and look really nice.

Def google for offers though

Vistaprint are excellent and are doing them for 99p at the moment - I get one every year for me and my mum!

LittleTyga · 05/12/2012 17:27

Forgot to add how did you get stung at the end? I get mine free and just pay postage? so never more than £3

PuffPants · 05/12/2012 18:23

LittleTyger, I got a flyer about the Vista one - is it really 99p? Is there an extra charge for uploading images or something?

What's the quality like? Think I might go for it Smile

Sleepingbunnies · 05/12/2012 18:25

Truprint / snapfish are 50% off at the mo! I get mine from there every year :)

jojo1983 · 05/12/2012 18:31

I also used vista print they sent me an offer for buy five for the price of one plus it was free delivery and as I needed five it was a great deal Grin

LittleTyga · 05/12/2012 22:45

Hi Puff on facebook they are offering free ones and the quality is excellent. No charge for uploading images - I've been getting them for years now!

Beaverfeaver · 05/12/2012 22:57

Pix mania?

ThursdayWillBeTheDay · 06/12/2012 06:36

Photobox are far superior quality to Vistaprint but Vistaprint are the Ryanair of the market so will always be cheaper even with the add-ons.

I paid £11 for Vistaprint for 3 calendars, that was inc postage, tax and upgrading to their nicest paper.

sleeplessinsuburbia · 06/12/2012 06:38

An American site called tiny prints is my all time fave for cards/invites/calendars etc. the postage was a bit but I have been really happy with my orders so far!

lucysnowe · 13/12/2012 14:33

Oh God as soon as I slag vistaprint off they get super cheap. last year it was mad, something like £5 per calendar, then upload free, VAT (!!) and postage added another £8. Per calendar. Umm, I used tesco in the end and it was a little more expensive than Thursday says, but I will persevere!

Photo box are good and have excellent customer service.

CanonFodder · 13/12/2012 19:13

Until now I'd have said photo box...but as they have sent me two orders, wrong, twice, and still haven't sorted it, I'd advise you steer clear. I'll never order from them again!

ChristmasCountdown · 13/12/2012 20:03

I did a vistaprint one last week - cost me £5 inc postage. I could have got cheaper postage, but I upgraded for a quicker delivery. I'm sure that's a con though as I've always got them quite quickly. They're not the same quality as photobox, but they're nice enough for Christmas gifts from DS which is my usual purpose of them.

fruityxmasAbuHamzamouse · 21/12/2012 10:39

Can I just take back what I said about photobox. They are terrible!
