Help - I need to get a secret Santa present which is sustainable and amusing

Argh. Bloody hate secret Santa.

I have up to £10 to spend on a present that is supposed to be "funny" yet ethical or sustainable. For a man who is old school corporate and whom I don't know other than his name. He has requested a charity donation but the powers that be have slapped down that idea as it has to be a physical present.

I've looked on some of the charity websites but can't find anything that's suitable.

Any suggestions before I slit my wrists

Tricky! Has it GOT to be funny? Slightly over budget but this is a charity thing where you get a doll and its twin goes to a family in Zimbabwe. Would it be "funny" to give a man a doll???

Not hilarious funny, more mildly amusing, but I know you can get paper products (notepads etc.) that are made from elephant poo. here

Have a browse on Natural Collection. They have a few odd things (again not hilarious, but who wants to be told they have to buy 'funny' - as if Secret Santa isn't hard enough):
bungee jump bird feeder here
actually that's about all i can find in the 'moderately amusing' category

OK am completely out of ideas. It's a tough one, sorry!

Worms. You can get proper wormery worms for not too much, and together with a guide to building your own wormery, it is eminently sustainable. Not sure whether it classes as funny or surreal.

Personally, I'd ignore the 'funny' bit and buy him some nice fair trade chocolate. Even if he doesn't eat the stuff himself someone will be grateful.

Otherwise, if he's specifically requested a charity donation already then could you get away with one of those gifts that goes off to someone overseas ( Tools for Self Reliance or Practical Action might be a bit of a change from Oxfam & some of their offerings might count as 'amusing'? )

a fire flint plus kindling
a wind-up torch
a (recycled) plastic goat to go with the charity donation

Ooh fab ideas thank you. Love the elephant poo post-its. We're in an office so that would be most appropriate. I wish it wasn't supposed to be funny - it would make it so much easier.
