We have a wooden advent calendar and I bought a big bag of Christmas haribo and hid it well (or so I thought) with the plan for ds (2.4) to have one sweet each day from the calendar... and I could eat the rest of the bag.
Well ds ended up in my bed last night and I was woken this morning by him offering me a handful of haribo before he promptly barfed the rest of the packet all over my bed. 
And there was me thinking that my only putting one sweet in the calendar at a time would prevent a breach of advent calendar rules. Lesson learnt!
