My younger and newly engaged sister is my Kris Kringle this year and I want to buy her some (tasteful!!) cute presents to mark her engagement for Christmas. I've already bought her main present (running gear!!) but wanted to add 2 or 3 smaller cute and fun gifts to the mix also! I would love some helpful suggestions please! I already have a framed photo of the couple on the day of their engagement..

Try either 15gifts.com or presentspotter.com - great sites for present ideas when you're completely stuck!

A friend of mine was given one of those word cloud pictures for an engagement present which I thought was lovely.

What is a Kris Kringle?

SerendipityAlways · 07/12/2012 09:30

FamiliesShareGerms - A Kris Kringle is where you draw a name out of a hat and buy a Christmas present for that person only. In our family rather than buying for all sisters, brothers-in law, parents etc, we put all the names in a hat, pick one and just buy a lovely present for that person. Normally the budget is about £50 so it means that everyone gets one great pressie rather than having to buy lots of smaller presents for everyone! Works well in large families!!

Ah - I know it as Secret Santa! I wish my family would agree to to do this rather than everyone giving everyone something

I think the bauble mentioned up thread is by Wedgewood - try a department store
