PLEASE tell me what I can get him for Christmas?

He is nearly 70 and has health issues so doesn't really leave the house. He is overweight and on a strict diet so can't eat nice things and can't drink alcohol with the tablets he takes.

He basically sit's in a chair all day every day, he pop's to the shop in the morning for a paper and that's about it.

He likes football and supports Chelsea but as you can imagine he's got everything football related already.

He doesn't read - apart from reading the paper wach day or have any other hobbies.

I can't really buy him clothes as he's very overweight and my mum buys his stuff from a special catalogue.

He does shower daily but is old school and doesn't really understand the need for posh smellies.

HELP!!!!

He probably doesn't have this. But, then again, would he want it?

ArbitraryUsername · 04/12/2012 10:05

What about pay for his newspapers

EdwardtheEagle · 04/12/2012 18:14

On amazon you can get a little night vision camera to be installed in a bird box and it only needs one lead to the tv

How about personalised book of newspapers from the year he was born? We got one for DH's 60 and he loved it. We got ours here:www.gonedigging.co.uk/newspaper-gifts/special-date-newspaper-books/year-edition-newspaper-book/?source=adwords&kw=%2Bnewspaper%20%2Byear%20%2Bbook&gclid=CILKysaugbQCFW3MtAodi0wAvw

Nice scarf/hat/gloves for his walk to the shop?
Something for the garden (posh plant or a terracotta planter)?
Digital photo frame?
DVD Box Set? My Dad is getting Open All Hours, the old Ronnie Barker classic.
