Inspired by all these lovely Christmas ideas, I'm planning some family entertainment for Christmas Eve. We have stuff to do during the day, but I want to put together a nice box of 'quiet time' stuff before the children go to bed - maybe some nice hot chocolate, biscuits and / or home made goodies, possible PJs, and a DVD. There are some great recommendations on here already, but I'd love to find a nice, not-too-cheesy version of the nativity story. Animated would be fine, or with 'real people', but something accessible for a pre-schooler and 5 year old. I might yet give in and go with a Santa-related film, but if you know of a nice telling of the Christmas story, please share!
