Ham - Christmas Day

I normally just have turkey as the christmas meat but thought I might also have ham.

Does anyone else do this, and if so, do you buy a baked ham or gammon or something else. Do you serve hot or cold? If you serve hot, how do you keep warm with everything else going on. Thanks Xmas Smile

Have a look at Nigellas ham in coke recipe. Very easy. Very tasty. Once it is on to cook you forget about it. It only needs a final 10 minute blast in the oven so easy to tie in with all the other cooking and family stuff on the day.

Another vote for Nigella's ham. It's easy and delish. cola ham recipe

Fab thanks - I have got a double oven and warming drawer (new this year) so hoping it will be easier this year! Will look at the recipe, I have Nigella's Christmas book - must get it out and start meal planning.

We will be cooking Gammon in Coke on Christmas Eve and eating it cold Christmas day. We will have a massive chunk of Gammon and a much smaller chunk of Turkey.

Hope my post doesn't come across as a kitchen boast - just excited and trying to kid myself that its all going to be very easy with much more cooking space.
