Just thought this might be of some use to people with friends and family down under...

Just been looking for something to send to BIL and his girlfriend in Australia. Not keen on sending six bottles of beer for £30 or some such similarly extortionately priced hamper. By chance clicked on delivery FAQ on M&S website www.marksandspencer.com and found free delivery to Australia and NZ until 5th December. Loads of exclusions (M&S Outlet online, 1-click orders, furniture, rugs, electrical items, lighting, Food, Wine, Flowers, Gift Cards, Hampers, Furniture, Made to Measure shirts, Personalised Cards and selected beauty products) and import duty or other taxes may be payable.

But we've at least managed to send them something for a reasonable price! Just hope it doesn't get broken in transit!

Very useful. Thank you.
We live in Oz, so think I may take full advantage of free delivery Grin

Yes, thanks for sharing this! I will be looking to make use of it as have family in Australia.

I know, it's amazing! They did it a few weeks ago too alongside 25% reductions on gifts. I sent 6 presents to NZ for £50 and delivery was free. Normally it costs me about £70 in delivery alone. Thanks for sharing the M&S love OP!

Post is taking at least two weeks from the UK to Sydney metro area at the moment so get those orders in. I ordered under this offer on 17th nov and it's still not here. Can't wait though. Stocked up on underwear for everyone!!

Nigellacakes · 02/12/2012 07:36

Do you know if they provide gift wrap service? As previously they haven't and re receipt is included too

trikken · 02/12/2012 21:38

yes they do. its £2.95 per item though so ive sent it unwrapped.

Thanks for saving me £15! found something suitable in the end.
