DD5 has lots of strappy thin summer dresses but sent her to a party today in jeans as couldn't think of anything else for her to wear.

She had school xmas disco on friday and 2 parties next weekend (and of course xmas). I'm going to take her shopping tomorrow. Any ideas where to go? Want to spend about £20 max.

Just say 'oh DH came in the other day and forgot about the voucher, you know what men are like!'

Ooh yeah good idea!

Sales assistant was quite remarkable looking so I would b able to choose a different one or return to the adult section which is in a different shop

Zara have some gorgeous girls dresses this season

My 6 yo has this one.

Is h&m boys stuff decent? I've never shopped in there for the DCs.

RobinDude · 01/12/2012 22:43

They had loads of sparkly tights in Primark, when I was in there last weekend, for only £2. Very similar to the ones in H&M which were about a fiver, iirc (still not too £££ but not as good as 2 quid).

Next have some gorgeous party things in ATM. I got this for DD1. She absolutely loves it!

Tammy BHS has a sale on and free delivery on orders over a tenner, i got dd a dress was 19 half price

fuzzpig h&m boys stuff is nice- usually a little more unusual than elsewhere. Nice bright coloured tops and track trousers in loads of different colours not just boring navy blue & grey!

fifi I went into bhs yesterday & couldn't find anything decent. Was like a ghost ship/shop

TKmaxx - gorgeous princessy party dresses, lots with net underskirts, some with velvet boleros as well. All under £20.

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 02/12/2012 08:58

H&M boys stuff is lovely, bright colours good quality and cheap. My ds is still wearing his grey chinos from the start of summer and they're not faded in the slightest. Not bad for a tenner Smile

Thanks, will check it out. :)

Girls yes mines like that, but on line they must have more stock and you only need to spend 10 to get free delivery. I spent ages trying to hunt a dress out but dd didnt like them or the ones she liked were out of stock. Anyway went there on line dont normally and she found one. Think there was a 30% off online sale
