Quite a number of options on Amazon so I was hoping to narrow it down with some suggestions from MN'ers. DS is 4.5yrs and DD is 18mths, so something that DS wont grow out of too quickly but not too waffly for DD, tho she does love a good story :)

We have The Jolly Christmas Postman new this year to enjoy but I really must get a good Nativity story as I've said I would several years running now!

a bit of an odd cjoice, but I picked up The Fox]s Tale in our Catholic bookshop and it's lovely, telling the Nativity story from the perspective of an animal in the stable.

I guess from having the Christmas postman that you don't want something too overtly religious?
