Dear Father Christmas. There is this book on television and you can do spells with it. I would like it please. I have been very very good for nearly all of the whole year.

Any thoughts on what the spell book could be?

PS3 Book of Spells?

RumoursOfAWhiteChristmas · 29/11/2012 17:24

Is it this

HyvaPaiva · 29/11/2012 17:26

It's this. It's a combination of a book written by JK Rowling and a PS3 game as orange said above. It's £49.99 if you don't have the PS3 eye/move controller pack or there's a £20 version if you already have those.

Virgil · 29/11/2012 17:30

Ah, now that's a problem since we have a wii not a PS3. Looks cool though, I can see why he wants it.

Hmm looks like Father Christmas might not be popular ths year Sad

Presumably it won't work on a decade old playstation? [She asks clutching at straws]

Aha though just seen its a 12 certificate and everyone knows that the North Pole won't supply an age restricted product to a six year old! Phew Wink

Get him the Lego Harry Potter game for the wii if he doesn't already have it as an alternative?

It's a 7 but surely Santa can stretch the boundaries a wee bit :o

...and no, it won't work on a Playstation Santa will just have to cough up for a PS3 to go with it....... :o

Virgil - we have Harry Potter Lego games for PS2. Very well loved by DC at that age. If you can't still get hold of them and would like them, message me. I will remind DC it's the season of goodwill and bundle them off to you.

Virgil · 29/11/2012 20:21

Ah thank you racingheart that's extremely kind of you but we do have lego harry potter for the wii.

At least now I know what it is and so can watch out for it on tv and explain that as soon as he's twelve he's sure to get it for Christmas but for now maybe he'd better think of something else.

Thanks all, I knew you lot would know what it was!!

Would this be sufficient for him? I've played it It's quite good on the wii as the control basically acts as the wand.
