Is 7 too old for a puzzle?

My cousins 7 year old DD loves Monster high, I was considering buying her the holographic type monster high puzzle (100 pieces I think), just wondered if this was too babyish/boring for a 7 year old girl?

She has all the dolls and ress up stuff so I wanted to keep to the theme she loves but a slightly different gift, and this is the first time I've seen the puzzle. Thanks

My nearly-9-yo enjoys jigsaw puzzles - hell, my MIL and I finished off the last one she'd started and we're a damn sight older than 7 AND I've just bought a huge jigsaw for DH's uncle for his Christmas.Grin

100 piece jigsaw should be fine for a 7-yo.

Sound like a good idea!

Thank you for the reassurance! My DD is just turned 4 so I have no experience of older children really! Plus it feels like an age since I was 7 myself ;)
