Where on earth do you buy games for Leapster 2 console?

I keep looking since I found one in TKMaxx for £20 - but everywhere seems to have either plain 'Leapster' games (which are frightfully ££) or Explorer ones, and I don't know if either of these will fit it iyswim.

Just hoping someone else on here has got the Leapster 2 and can help me work out what will work with it!

Thankyou Thanks

Have you had a look on amazon? There might be some cheap second hand ones. Entertainer is quite good for things like that to.

Oh thankyou very much, I will have a look Smile

Hello, hope you found some games, just to let you know that the original leapster games work in the leapster 2 but no explorer. Ebay is good for getting a few cheap but stores don't really sell them now. Hth :)

Oh brill - thankyou! (tis me under Xmas name)

Thanks for reminding me, I did find a few on Tesco direct but forgot to order them...it doesn't matter as he has a lot to open at Christmas and I can keep this for after.

It tells you on the box which consoles they work in. Or you can but the app cards and download the games from the leapfrog website. You can get the little app type games or the more complex longer games. And you can download videos and music too.

I think you can just pay on tour card on the website.

If you are getting the leappad for Christmas it's a good idea to take it out the box and set it up on the computer now.

Oh gosh that's really helpful - thankyou very much. I will take it out and have a look at it. Not very good at computery things tbh but I may be able to manage it! It's great that you can download things from the site.

Cheers Savoy Smile

My ds, now 5 has had a leapster2 since he was 3 and loves it. The normal leapster games definitely work on both.

Btw, the one my kids got most value out of was the 'mr Pencil draw and write'... Or was it 'paint and draw'?Grin
