My DH wants to know what I want but I don't know. I need new perfume but can't find one I love. I like pretty jewellery and good probably do with a new handbag or lovely boots or just smelly bath soak type things. But just not really sure. So I wondered what you want so that I get inspiration.

Phew I found it at last. Someone put up a very similar post a while back and lots of people put on their wish lists. Hopefully it will give you some ideas:

here

My wishlist is...
Jerusalem cookbook by Ottolenghi
New change bag for current ds (and #2 on his/her way)
Hmm thinking about it my list is a bit specific to where I live and probably not that useful for ideas!! - flip-flops, rash vest/spf t-shirt.

INeedThatForkOff · 27/11/2012 05:38

I want a new heart rate monitor to encourage me to get fit again post baby.

Also a set of L'Occitane cherry toiletries, inc. perfume, as the scent reminds me of DS's birth (I have the Rose 4 Reines stuff that takes me back to DD's).

cazza2878 · 27/11/2012 06:35

A new handbag or failing that a Red Dog Bag Pod in green or red leather

Clothilde · 27/11/2012 07:13

What I would like in an ideal world: Une Rose perfume, a kindle. What I can realistically expect: a new hairbrush.

joshandjamie · 27/11/2012 09:27

In an ideal world, I would like

Russian wedding ring from Cartier (it is 3 platinum, diamond encrusted bands). Not holding out any hope of that one Grin

My perfect perfume. Given that I haven't actually found this yet, I doubt if dh will stumble across it by accident!

A surprise weekend away with dh, to somewhere lovely.

I think I am what might be called high maintenance Wink

GoldenHandshake · 27/11/2012 11:42

DH and various family members ahve asked what I would like for Christmas, items on my list this year are:

Hunger Games dvd
Lush goodies (I love the ceridwens cauldron bath melt and their toner tabs)
Issey Miyake perfume (L'eau d'issey)
New boots (I think DH is getting me these)
Benefit perfect 10 blusher and mascara

My sisters will most likely get me the DVD and Lush stuff. My mum usually gives me £50 in a card to spend in the sales, I usually get a book or dvd from DD that DH arranges :)

My Dad usually gets me a nice Guess, Radley or DKNY handbag, he has excellent taste and keeps me in nice handbags.

MadameCastafiore · 27/11/2012 11:47

A Cartier Tank Americaine watch (dream on!)
A Mulberry Daria Handbag and purse (stretching it a bit I think)
A clear glass mixing bowl for my kitchenaid
Hush pyjamas
Socks
A secret potion to enable me to lose half a stone over night.

giraffe213 · 27/11/2012 11:51

Gift vouchers for nicer clothes shops than I usually shop in Smile
Like others I'd love some nice perfume but don't know what I like.

iamwhaticallpregnant · 27/11/2012 11:53

Any wellies and bag from Kath Kidson
Any perfume / make up set from Estee Lauder
The audio version of Mirander Hart's recent book (the book is amazing)
A onesie
A faux leather jacket
Any maternity clothes from Mothercare

iamwhaticallpregnant · 27/11/2012 11:59

For all the people who want Perfume but not sure what they want - Estee Lauder are doing a large gift set with all their perfumes in that look amazing. My favourite perfume of all time is Vanilla by Jo Malone. It is pricey - but you cant get better. If you find an outlet (they are usually in Selfridges) you can spend the day trying out all the scents. Vanilla and Rosewater - amazing!

ENormaSnob · 27/11/2012 12:54

Lush stuff
Smellies
Posh pjs
Slippers
Lancôme eye set
Nice candle
Foody stuff
Usually would say red wine but am pregnant so not this year.
Vouchers/money
Surprises

joshandjamie · 27/11/2012 18:07

can anyone recommend perfumes that aren't mega sweet/floral? For example I used to love CK One when it first came out. And more recently have been wearing Issy Miyake but I feel as though I need something new. Everything I smell seems really sweet. I like citrus or light

A leather satchel
Rose perfume - Royal Horticultural Society / Bronnley
Some nice sketchbooks from Paperchase or similar

racingheart · 27/11/2012 20:30

I share your taste in perfumes. Try these:

Eau de Givenchy or Eau de Gucci - Both light, fresh classics.
Clarins blue bottle (forget its name)
Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte
L'Occitane Verbena - very fresh and citrussy

Prolificmincepiebreeder · 27/11/2012 20:46

Ideal world:
iPad mini.
Perfume, CK Eternity Moment.
Liz Earle: c&p toner and moisturiser.
iTunes vouchers.
iPhone speakers.
Joules and Boden vouchers.
And sleep, lots of sleep!
