Help - I need some knight figures for a castle!

We have a second hand castle we are giving ds for Christmas, but it has not figures. I've had a look online and all I can find is 'packs' of knights where they look pretty scary with horrible weapons - anyone know how/where I can get hold of some more tame-looking knights/dragons (eg like Playmobil ones) - but not too expensive? Doesn't matter how 'used' they are.
I've been looking on Ebay, but it all seems to be individual brand-new figures that aren't very cheap.

Thanks...:)

wooden set

These are quite cute.

I used seller train-playmobil-supplies for mine, it was recommended here in fact!

It is about 1.25 per figure but TBH that is quite cheap compared to the packs on say Amazon (which are about a fiver for a pack of two)

He shipped really fast and combined postage too.

(The seller I referred to sells new BTW, so not sure about buying used!)

They are much cheaper second hand when it's not close to christmas I'd get a few now then keep your eyes peeled.

Whatever you do don't get the plastic ELC type ones - they have little play value as they are not articulated. I agree that the playmobil type ones are the best - I would hold out for them.
