He has asked for some Lord of the Rings lego, but DH thinks that at nearly 13 (January) he's too old for lego.

So far I have got him
Top Gun DVD
2 james Bond DVDs
and a sweatshirt

realy clueless this year.
it is usually DS1 I struggle with

My DS1 (12) is getting a nexus 7 as his main present. He is also getting:

-Skullcandy earphones
-Pyjamas
-New dressing gown
-Slippers
-Pants
-Socks
-magazine subscription
-Converse trainers
-Books
-a watch
-the dreaded Lynx set
-a lava lamp
-a speaker for his mp3 player

If he has an XBox or PS3, there's a Lego Lord of the Rings game. It might be a compromise between ds2 and dh?

My DS still loves Lego. Grown men build Lego

I am 30 odd, and I'm getting LOTR Lego for Christmas!

Lord of the Rings Lego is marketed towards the upper end of the age range (there are loads of adult fans). I'd buy the Lego.

HE IS NOT TOO OLD FOR LEGO.
DS13 still strokes his Lego collection, maybe not when anyone is watching, but he loves it. Pride of place on display. Somewhat reluctantly moving on to Warhammer.

and LOTR Lego is Wicked. Simple Wicked.

DS is getting a Minecraft T-shirt, fave shower gel, chilli-flavoured sweets, a Lego-mini figure, chocolate. And Warhammer stuff. He'd love a BB Gun, good pocket knife, good cakes cookbook.

Good magazines: Flipside, The Phoenix.

My nearly 13 yr old is getting lots of the monster fighters lego. He's also getting warhammer, and an x box game

I'd be mighty annoyed if someone decided I was too old for a present I wanted Grin
Get him the Lego, you're never too old for Lego. Especially as at his age, he's less likely to leave it around for you to tread on in the dark
