my 9 yeat ild ds wants an xbox. what can i get instead

My 9year old ds believes in Santa. And has asked for an x box. Which is apparently irrespective of cost as he uses magic. He had asked for an ipod from.us which is fine (ebay) but we don't have magic.
What could we persuade him that Santa would prefer to bring £50 ish second hand would be fine
He has a Wii and a Nintendo last year , scooter for birthday

If he has a wii, Nintendo and I pod just tell him Santa thinks he has enough games consoles and needs to make sure it's fair on the other children, so he can't have one this year.
