made xmas pudding vodka - what to do with the fruit?

just putting it through the muslin and it seems a shame to chuck the fruit - any suggestions?

Make a fruit cake?

Have it with ice cream?

Eat then all in one go and report how drunk you get?

I am making it into an ice cream dessert. Using a pot of "posh" custard and some whipped cream.

I agree it's a pity to waste it.

I'd remove the cinnamon sticks first though..

Cake definately. It will be nicely infused.

I saw jars of Rumtopf fruit in Lakeland to have with desserts (it was about £9ish).
DH had a Rumtopf jar years ago (he used brandy). It took alot of fruit to fill, he did it once. Now we use the jar to collect copper coins
