Yes we have a bucky for DS, Im itching to get it out the box to try it! He loves pirates aswell. The only downside to it is it only comes with a jakefigure, DS wants Hook and Smee so we're going to have to buy them seperate. I think for the price of it, it could have had at least Cubby and Izzy. Well said the companies know what they are doing.

Top of my 8yo DD's list is 'Adopt a Snow Leopard' from the WWF fund.

DH is not impressed because he suspects (probably quite rightly) that she wouldn't be remotely interested if it didn't happen to involve a cuddly snow leopard toy.

I know he is right but I'm wavering tbh, although between us and her grandparents she's getting spoilt rotten this year.

Also, Build a Bear clothes & mini bear, Paper FX, books, DVD's & chocolate.

DD aged 5 has asked for:

an ice cream maker
a milkshake maker
a lollypop maker
She wants to open a shop apparently.
she's also asked for a sylvanian family bed for her 40 odd SF people.

she's getting the ice cream maker (real not toy) and some SF things. She will not get the lollypop maker as the only one I could find was made by the same company that makes the chocolate coin maker. and we have a blender already so she isn't the milkshake maker.

And she is not opening a shop right now. She says she will when she's grown up and done all her learning at school. I'm happy with that Smile

She tried to use DS's list to wangle some barbies out of FC as she wrote it for him Hmm canny madam.

DS (4): HotWheels. When prompted whether he'd like something else he pondered and replied "more HotWheels"
DD (2.5): A purple present. When asked what she'd like inside her purple present she said "a blue present"

What they will be getting:
DS: HotWheels, a big tank that I told him was too expensive large for FC but managed to find on eBay, meccano, rolobox kit, diecast planes, my little pony princess, toy sweet shop that I asked FC for damn near every year but never bloody received and Lego Friends.
DD: Moxie girlz doll & horse, tool kit, geomag, my little pony figures, doll, k'nex, Hello Kitty Unico (Duplo-style) stables to go with her massive Duplo collection and some play food boxes/cartons.

They'll also get a small gift from me and DH.

DS (16) boy computery stuff, a £1000 pc (hollow laugh)
Dd1 (14) clothes, CDs, make-up, trainers
Dd2 (9) UGGs, Lego with people, pink laptop, phone, clothes, things for her little sisters :)
Dd3 (2) everything that is advertised on tv. But particularly a peppa pig tree house and a Thomas railway.
Dd4 (1) whatever dd3 gets.
The littlies both love dolls and I managed to get a cheap 2nd hand rocking horse that I know they'll love! They're a lovely age. They're so easy to please. The others are lovely kids but they don't get much during the year so save up wish lists for Christmas and their lists are usually expensive! They won't be getting all the things they ask for.

DS (4) also wants most things advertised on tv.

He's asked for:
Vauxhall astra, like daddy's. A real one though, not a toy.
A dummy and a book about a dummy for his brother.

I think he'll be happy with anything,I hope :)

DD is 5. She has asked for a hula hoop, some jelly babies and, if it's not too much, a chocolate orange as mummy won't buy her one....I think she will be happy on Christmas day!

dd2's said "Deer Santer, all I wont for crissmas is a laptop wiv moshee monstis and evreething onit and a soh"

Dd1's was normal. The same things she asks for every year in the same order of importance

  1. A poodle or a chihuahua - a puppy would be best but Santa can rescue one if he wants to.
  2. A ipad
  3. A kindle - I want the fire one now.
  4. Books by - she wrote an author name but I can't remember it
  5. Lemony Snicket books
  6. If you get me present 2 or 3 then you could download 4 and 5 and they would be cheeper.
