DD's Ballet school have sponsored a Christmas tree & we need to decorate it

Normally I make everything but this year with the flood & everything I haven't any time to make anything so I want to buy some Ballet bits for it.

Has anyone seen anything?

Auberginestripes · 22/11/2012 21:43

This is a really nobby thing to say but the gift shop at the Royal Opera House does

KatyMac · 22/11/2012 21:51

Not 'really' nobby but their on-line shop is closed Wink

They do lovely little fairies too.

FredWorms · 22/11/2012 23:21

FredWorms · 22/11/2012 23:22

here Grin

Inside or outside? If inside could you make bows from old sheet music (from charity shop), not strictly ballet but associated concept. Or get each child to take a bauble home and stick bits of music to it - might not be quite the professional look you are after, but saves you from doing all the work.

She is 'one of the children' & we don't have any time (unfortunately) so I'm throwing money at it.

We just had a flood & are being moved out for 3 weeks, I'm 4 weeks of finishing a post-graduate qualification, DD is visiting 6th form performing arts colleges & I'm knackered!

I found some lights at B&Q that I will get, I think

B&Q had xmas ballet & tiara lights. they had cold LEd light though.

EdgarAllanPond · 25/11/2012 12:07

oh, you saw them too!

KatyMac · 25/11/2012 12:22

Thanks - apparently I can't buy anything, as we are 'raising money not spending it'

Which I understand but I can't donate time atm
