ds liked the compass from John Lewis we got him last year.

We have inflatable guitars/globes and silly glasses lined up too.

Jokey trick things like a finger chopped also hits

Top trumps or another card game like Uno or Phase 10.

Have electric toothbrushes for my 3 this year

Often do pants/socks/juice bottle.

fruitcorner · 21/11/2012 23:27

Head torch, magnifying glass, microscope ( natural history one) , cap gun, nerf jolt gun, some crystals or rocks, UNO

For dd1 I am getting a set of dice from www.theteachingwindmill there are different numbered dice plus function dice. Hoping to make up our own dice dudes games for a fraction of the price. Free postage too.

Also thinking of getting a prism. Already have mini fig, mini art canvas from the works, some other craft stuff. Might make reindeer soap flannels too.

I was in Hobbycraft today, they have loads of stuff like mini foil scrapers, mini Fimo sets (robots etc), Melissa and Doug stained glass window colouring books, suncatchers etc. Lots under £5 and stuff boys would like - robots, cars, dinos, wildlife.

Wallison · 22/11/2012 14:25

I was in SportsDirect the other day and picked up a little plastic football boot filled with jelly toys for my football-mad son. Two or three quid I think it was.

Wallison · 22/11/2012 14:25

Oops sweets not toys.
