BIL has NO interests apart from his gun club. leaving aside my concerns about his hobby, wtf can we get for him for christmas? It needs to be lightweight enough to post abroad (under a kilo preferably), and can't be a t-shirt (we have sent him a t-shirt for every birthday and christmas for 5 years, and have found he doesn't actually wear the bloody things).

DH says money is NOT an acceptable gift, but will not come up with any ideas except t-shirts Angry

I am officially flummoxed.

(and any suggestions for FIL, who also speaks no english but has absolutely no hobbies or interests would be appreciated too!!)

New gun cleaning kit? There are some nice ones aimed at the Christmas present market, and bits are always wearing out and needing replacement, so you know it's something that will be used.

I thought it was pricey too, but you may be able to get it somewhere else cheaper - it's only embossed so I cant see why you couldn't post it - though I wonder waht would show up on an x-ray :)
