It's for my nephew. My sister has suggested this, but I have no idea what boys this age like to read! (I have 2 younger dds). Can anyone tell me which books their boys of this age enjoy? She suggested sci fi. I'd rather not ask her, better to be a surprise.

My son is 6 and loves Horrid Henry books, The Naughty Bus and we have bought him The Polar Express for Christmas.

If you want to be the best aunt ever Fleabag monkeyface
Cosmic by Frank Cotterell Boyce if it's one for them to read to him.
Dirty Bertie are far better than Horrid Henry.

Thank you both, I'll get my mum to check he doesn't have any of those when she's there next!

My DS absolutely loves Roald Dahl- particularly Charlie and The Chocolate factory...

Oh yes Persuedbypenguins (great name btw!), good idea! I'll check if he has any of those.

Book people do a good roald Dahl set

Thank you all, spoilt for choice now! I might write these all down for my sister, then perhaps she can get him a couple of others as well.
