£30 limit for my dad - suggestions needed please

My family sets a £30 limit for everyone which can prove very challenging. I am completely stumped on what to do my dad. He's outdoorsy, reads, plays golf, watches rugby and football - usual dadstuff
Any suggestions?

TK Maxx - they have Ralph Lauren polos and shirts , Calvin Klein pyjamas in at the moment. Got my dad a polo for £29.99!

We gave my Dad the book Passing time in the Loo one year, there are two volumes, and have summaries of a wide variety of books from calssics, modern, childrens etc, great to read.

I just put together a pack of novels for my dad, all set in the area where he lives. That cost £30 for 4, and researched using mumsnet fiction boards.

I think mine will love this - might be an idea for your dad as he reads.

Thanks everyone
We bought him a kindle for his birthday which has been great but annoying ruled out buying books
Will sound my mum out about private eye
Dorsetknob - couldn't open your link, what was it?
