Am thinking of getting DS DVD(s) that we can watch together (not sure can guarantee enough sky memory). Have not seen any of below .... any thoughts .........

Polar Express
Arthur Christmas
Brave (or is that really too old/scary ?)

my dd is 4 and we watched Elf last weekend, and she loved it!

Ds (5) loves Polar Express. He went through a stage of watching it practically every day. I didn't like it nearly so much (found it a bit creepy tbh, but that's just me not liking the animation style that much, not the content).

He also loved Arthur Christmas last year and we went to see Brave at the cinema fairly recently and that was also a hit (although not Christmassy obv).

I second Elf! It's very funny and very sweet.

Muppets Christmas Carol is also ace!

Ds is 5 and likes polar express. I also find the animation style a bit creepy too sleepyhead.

He got Elf last year and is recently going through a run of watching it again.

Saw Brave in the cinema and didn't find it scary at all.

Another one for Polar Express. Ds loved it, still does two years later..

Depending on his maturity levels he might find Home Alone quite funny too.

Elf is great. We have watched those Snow buddy films in the past too, and DS has always enjoyed them.

DCs appear to love Polar Express, I found it vom inducing Blush If you like a bit of Christmas cheese you might like it though.

Marking place on thread as I've also got a 5 year old boy who need a new DVD for Christmas (or rather, I do. Cars 2 has been on a loop for what seems like forever...)

We saw Brave at the cinema. It's good. There are some scary parts (a large, fierce bear) but I saw them coming and could prepare DS and he was fine.

We bought Mr Bean and Sonic Christmas editions (eye roll)

We have Snowman, Father Christmas, are aiming to get Arthur Christmas (saw in cinema last year and loved it) and we have Polar Express which the kids still love.

They are getting Lorax, Brave and Ice Age 4 on DVD from family - all stuff they saw at the cinema this summer.

Another vote for Elf (both of mine love it), dd1 also likes the nativity (so much we have to go and watch the new one in the cinema in a few weeks).

Santa Claus The Movie? We've been watching that for a few years, DD loves it.

Definitely Muppet Christmas Carol though! Grin
