Im very non materialistic and cant stand the whole round of buying useless tat . Christmas gift buying makes me shudder.there is not a thing in the world I want that money can buy. Except some new rubber gloves

About a year ago I bought some heavy duty rubber gloves online ( can't remember the brand name ) after reading rave reviews. They cost about TENPOUNDS ! ( faints) . V comfy, great for any household or garden job. Last forever, even machine washable.

Three months ago they mysteriously disappeared. Last month even more mysteriously just the left one turned up. I want a new pair .

I'll eat the sweets

BaDaBing · 11/11/2012 23:26

I have a Tiffany list, I live in eternal hope.

LadyMaryChristmas · 11/11/2012 23:29

I just want things to work out. Nothing else.

Mintyy · 11/11/2012 23:31

I want an aesthetically pleasing wooden bike shed big enough to take all our bikes fully installed in my front garden. Please. And a bottle of Paloma Picasso perfume.

Thank you.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 11/11/2012 23:32

The front garden?

Shock

Won't that devalue the neighbourhood?

LadyMaryChristmas · 11/11/2012 23:33
Grin
Pinner35 · 11/11/2012 23:33

A kindle and a lie-in. One I am guaranteed, the other is up for discussion.

RockPaperScissorsLizardSpock · 11/11/2012 23:33

Pwoar would I Grin

Did you sniff the left one that turned up, it may lead you to the right one? Have you been doing all your jobs one handed?

chaos love, why so sad? Have you not been good enough this year?

ProPerformer · 11/11/2012 23:34

My teeth done! Sad!
Honestly they are all horrid and rotten and breaking (my top front two especially are minging - I never do open mouthed smiles now!) because of 4 years of crippling depression where I didn't look after them and ate loads of sweets and things too. Now I'm better I can't afford to get them done even on the NHS even if I did have a dentist as we are paying mortgage, money for new car, nursery fees and other sundry bills out of my part time min wage job and DH's full time job that literally just scrapes any decent benefits pay or free NHS treatment out of use!! Sad

But apart from that (and more in keeping with the topic) Michael McIntyre's new DVD, Miranda Hart's book (I know, very un-Mumsnet) and an iPad!

TheDetective · 11/11/2012 23:36

I just want this baby to escape from my fanjo as it should have done by now... 8 days over and counting.

But if I can have two things Grin I'd like every new comedy DVD that is being released this year! Cheers!

marriedinwhite · 11/11/2012 23:37

I would like someone to buy me a really nice bottle of luxury bubble bath and some lovely soap and shower gel. I love it buy nobody ever buys it for me.

Front Garden Bike houses are very trendy round here btw and certainly don't upset the neighbours.

RockPaperScissorsLizardSpock · 11/11/2012 23:39

pro (can I call you pro?) haven't looked it up but I think dental colleges used to work on patients for not much pennies, would just mean a student would be doing the work. Might be misinformed though !?

I'd really like to have a calm friendly happy day with my children. & dp at home for the first time with no family pressure or stress from any one. So we can cook our first Christmas dinner together, stay in our PJs and just CHILL

I suspect mother in law will have other ideas though

Heh, no, I'm always good. Wink

It's just because I cna only source them in Furrin and there's no way I can justify £30+ postage.

That makes me moroseful.
