Any ideas? I can't knit but can cook pretty well.

Don't know what your relationship is to the aforementioned 'guy' but perhaps a 'cheque' promising a meal, kind of like an IOU, to be 'cashed in' when required?

If he likes chocolate/sweets - homemade truffles? Fudge? Toffee?

Christmas cake?

Also, do you embroider? I once made a quaker style embroidered cushion for my DH and he still uses it?

Much of what I can think of is centred around knitting (can you tell I'm a knitter ?)
