I think it is pretty boring stuff and I am very much hoping that we are not going to have another outpouring of emotion from people on here saying that it has made them weep - which is the usual response to a JL Christmas advert.

I like it!.I don`t like that version of the power of love much but I like the sentiment.At least they are promoting love rather than I have zillions of presents.I think children will love it

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed this year. It will probably grow on me...the music is just awful though.

I think it's good - and I like the song.

I love it. No wonder they couldnt afford a Waitrose ad.

Please note snowmans grim determination face at 25 seconds in. My husband looks exactly like this on Christmas Eve when he sets out to town, coming back with the first unsuitable hat and glove set he can lay his hand on.
Therefore much more realistic than asda ad in our house at least.

Agree about the poxy song- can't abide that song anyway and the singer does it no favours.

The Snowman "Walking in the Air" wouldn't quite fit.

I quite like it actually. Understated - no schmalzy crap. It made me smile. Last year's irritated me.

Oh I love it! It isn't filled with lots of JL product placements either. The song is ok too.

Last year's ad made me weep nosey at the realisation of Morrissey's total sell-out.

I like it. I hate that song usually but what a lovely version that is.

I thought it rather boring. I hate the bit where the snowman's stuck in the city with all the cars wizzing past.

It's all about him struggling, I don't want that at Christmas, I want warm and fuzzy.

I loved last years ad.

The cover of The Power of Love is shite, but the ad is rather good. I like it.
