Kids
Small gift for each other
Our parents (4)
Our grandparents (4)
One great aunt
Kids in family (currently 5 of them)
Our brothers and their partners (4)
We don't buy for any other adults, but always buy for the children in the family, up to 18/21.
Both DH and I have big extended families though.
Us and our friends will do a wee party at Xmas for our kids with a small gift and visit from Santa (if we can rope someone into itWink)

I wrote my list today.
20 grown ups (both sets of parents, both divorced and remarried, grandparents and even some great grandparents!)
22 children (not including our own, 6 of them are godchildren, the rest are nieces/nephews and friends/neighbours children who we are close to.
Seems like a lot of people Confused
Also small bits for teachers and grown up neighbours, but token gifts like wine/chocs.
And also have 8 more birthdays until now and xmas including one of my own DC! Eek, haven't really started my proper shopping - HELP!

We don't talk to most of ohs family and its a big family so that saves a fortune. I spend way to much on my own children and dh and a max of £10 each on everyone else.

Yama · 07/11/2012 20:57

Kids.

I buy for Secret Santa member of my family.

Dh buys for Secret Santa member of my family and various members of his own family.

Oh, and for each other.

1 x ds
7 x nieces and nephews (5 are teenagers and just want hard cash)
3 x parents (1 x malt whisky, 1 x Clinque, 1 x knitwear - every year they ask for same!)
2 x gran (one 93 and one 97 years old and the hardest to buy for!)
1 x very close friend (my ex-SIL!)
1 x dh (small pressie from ds)
1 x me (small pressie from ds)
2 x ds's closest friends (could change between now and Xmas!!!)
1 x work secret santa (if they do one, starting a new job next week)

19 in total.

Agreed with mine and dh's 6 siblings and 6 partners, and friends years ago that we would only do kids for pressies and that spending time together over Xmas break was more important. Everyone was very relieved as it was just getting too much.
