Do you have a budget between you?

I have found it really hard to come up with ideas but here's my list (varying costs between £10 and £60 - that one not going to happen!)

Post strap for my DSLR camera
brolly with a button to put it up / down
necklace with DC names and birthstones
baby foot charm for my bracelet (a way to remember the baby I lost)
tickets to the Harry Potter studio tour
Kindle Voucher
Slipper boot thingys
voucher for some kind of pampering

I would be really happy with any one of those

VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2012 20:31

A bar bag for my bike.

VerySmallSqueak · 30/10/2012 20:36

Fuck all.
We don't do presents for grown ups.
If we did I'd ask for a bike.Or a leatherman tool.Or a new rucksack.

You don't need to justify presents - that's the point!

Loveweekends10 · 31/10/2012 05:30

A new sound system. Not sure what yet.

BrandyAlexander · 31/10/2012 07:10

Dh and I don't do lists he thinks it is much more thoughtful okay for him he only has my presents to get. He is good at guessing what I want though from all the hints. This year I want a kindle fire or Ipad.

SilveryMoon · 31/10/2012 07:23

We haven't ever really done presents for each other (me and dp) but this year there's a bit more money floating about so we might do this year.
I have hinted towards a Kindle. Not the new one though as I only want it for reading.
My mum will get me a new watch and my dad will probably buy me bubble bath/salts etc even though he knows they all irritate my skin! Smile

VolumeOfACone · 31/10/2012 09:54

Maltesers.

ditavonteesed · 31/10/2012 09:55

A bike I think.

zipzap · 31/10/2012 10:00

For a change, I actually have quite a few things on my christmas list this year, large variety of prices!

  • new lens for my dslr camera
  • miatui handbag - think this looks nice and I love handbags where you can organise yourself, my current one has one big space and I can never find anything (although I had planned on getting the pewter one and that's not on the website at the moment - arrrggghh)
  • new little frying pan
  • baking sheet that has no non-stick coating (difficult task these days...)
  • box of chocolate cherry liqueurs just for me to gorge eat by myself!
CyclesPerfecta · 31/10/2012 10:22

I have just started collecting some ideas for my list, so far I have:

This top from White Stuff: www.whitestuff.com/whimsical-top-prod403748_dk_c_petal/

Some socks (White stuff or Fat Face)

an orchid plant

Subscription to Good Food magazine

Amazon gift card (£10-£20) to download some kindle books

Pandora bead for my bracelet

Benefit set: www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/shes-so-jetset or this one: www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/big-beautiful-eyes

I am not expecting DH to buy all of these items, will be very happy just with the top and some socks Smile

Flippityjig · 31/10/2012 10:53

We don't really do gifts for adults either but if there is something one of us wants and we can afford it we sometimes go ahead. I'm contemplating a Kindle ...

Littlemissimpatient · 31/10/2012 11:02

It was an iPad and Harry potter tour tickets.
Now it's hopefully going to be a house if it all goes through ok.
I'd still like a pandora charm too.
DH is getting a new coat

miatui · 31/10/2012 13:05

If you want the Pewter Grace bag.. email me or call, details on the website. We only have 2 left. C

Ithinkitsjustme · 31/10/2012 14:31

I've asked my DM for a warm throw (to put round my shoulders when on mumsnet Grin)
My DH is paying for me to go to the spa at Bath for 2 days with my DSis and DSiLs, and my DMil will give me money towards that.
Other than that I always ask for matching smellies - I love them.

SilkStalkings · 31/10/2012 19:12

Found an antique folding screen in a junk shop and have instructed requested my dad to buy it and refurbish it for me.

CalamityJones · 31/10/2012 19:16

I don't know for sure; but strongly suspect a Toast dressing down, some Elemis bath stuff and a piece of jewellery. Which suits me fine.

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 31/10/2012 19:19

A onezie.

Dh doesnt know it but im getting him one too. oh how we will look together!

SouthernComforts · 31/10/2012 19:20

Me and dp are contemplating a coffee machine, or a dryer.

MonsterBookOfTerrors · 31/10/2012 21:49

Emporio Armani perfume
a butterfly scarf and some thinsulate gloves
an mp3 player

I also want Disney Brave dvd, but think I may pretend to get that for dd :o

MonsterBookOfTerrors · 31/10/2012 21:52

Oh and a Chelsea shirt of ds and dd :o

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/10/2012 21:57

Some potentially expensive (and not very enjoyable) dental work.

I've got some Unit Trusts to cash in (Hooray)

So I can spend it on some nice cosmetic dental work ( not so hooray)
But I'll be happy afterward I'm sure. (Keep telling myself).

sooperdooper · 01/11/2012 15:19

I've asked for a silver bracelet and pointed him in the general direction of the kind of thing I like, apart from that it will be a surprise :)

Elongase · 01/11/2012 15:20

I'd really love vouchers - Paperchase!
