mp3 player for 6 year old cheap and specfic

big ask here but need help/recomendations for an mp3 player for ds who is 6 and a half. It must be cheap as possible as ive spent way to much already and ds has mild SN and drops and breaks everything, it must be easy to use, he has trouble with headphones, adult in ear ones fall out and over head ones put to much pressure on his ears and hurt so something light/small ideally. I was hoping for one with a built in speaker too for his room when the headphones become to much but not finding anything would appreciate all recomendations thanks

I have a Sansa one which was cheap. About thirty pounds and from what I can tell is pretty much unbreakable. It was a few years ago that I bought it though.
As for an in-built speaker, I think that isa big ask, especially as you want something robust.
Any thing you buy is going to come with standard earphones, if you want something not standard, you will more than likely have to pay to get them.
So you'd probably be looking at seventy pounds once you had the player, the speaker and the headphones.
You might be able to find a good deal on eBay though.

Would these earphones help? They're not in-ear, but the don't had a headband either, just fold round the back of the ear.

My dd was gifted an iPod but I had prevously seen an mp3 for about £10 at toysrus that had decent reviews.
I got this speaker for my dds iPod, quite small but you just plug it in as you would headphones. Sounds was quite good too and it's portable.

this Philips one is fairly robust and has simple controls. There's also this one, but I don't know if those two smaller buttons might be too small? The sound quality from Philips is generally good.

Headphones like these might be worth a look - they are very lightweight so should not put too much pressure on his ears. I also like the JVC kids' ones, as they are well padded but still very light, and they are volume limited so the sound cannot be put up to a level which could damage hearing.

You can get a decent small speaker which will connect via an aux cable like this one which is rechargeable. The very cheapest will probably not be great sound quality but they are available from about £5. They usually run on batteries, but you can get some mains ones for under £20 if you look for special offers.

Beat-is it digital radio? Looks like the updated version of my Sansa one, which is pretty decent and still working well three years or so later since I got it.
