He is really hard to buy for at the moment, I have all of DDs presents - 12 year old girls are easy but 8 year old boys!!!

Sure he doesn't mean DJ Hero on Xbox or something??

No - he wants to be able to hear the music through earphones I think and be able to scratch or move something with his other hand.

Will have a look at DJ Hero though.

He is only 8 - DJ Hero looks good but think maybe a bit old for him.

There is a great one in the apple store for around £80. I know you can use it with an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. It's an app enabled. It's Called the unmarked Idj live. I know this is only any good if you have an iPad etc, sorry if you haven't. A lot of semi pro dj's use these.
