Where can I get Christmas decorations that aren't just tree decorations?

I really struggle each year to find decorations that aren't (a) tree decorations or (b) ornaments.

I'd really like some nice decorations to hang to the ceiling (i.e. from one corner of the ceiling to the other) or something to wrap around the bannisters.

Our tree is done, but I want the rest of the house to look decorated too. At least the kitchen / diner and hallway.

Thanks

I bought 8 of these 2years ago. Was £16 each then I think. The picture does not do it justice. They are really luxurious and thick. I pin 6 of them to the top edge of my cream kitchen cabinets using ribbons and drawing pins (cannot be seen) dangling down a little but can still open the doors. Then on alternate doors I.e. reception rooms, kitchen and also alternate kitchen cabinet doors, I hang a little wreath again from B&Q £5 each. Plain green wreath with little red berries and a pinecone.

I wrap the other two garlands around the banisters going up then on top of that, I wrap 2 battery operated little small red berry lights hiding in the garlands so cannot see the wires.

As we have a very large back room, I hang thick gold tinsel in scallop shape to the tops of my wall cupboards ( one complete wall) and the complete back wall i.e. French doors again using these gold tinsel. Get them from Costco, think it was 12m for £16. In between the scallop shape loop, I pin a red poinsettia to it.

Then I hang red/gold ribbons taped from inside each cupboard And on the outside, I hang our Christmas cards using tiny gold plastic pegs (like clothes pegs but plastic that you get to make cards with)

Then the tree is in the same red and gold colours. Nice effect with hundreds of lights.

Sounds a lot but our room is quite big so need to fill it.

I put lots of lights in the kids bedrooms around the walls and bookcases. They each have a mini Xmas tree on their desks. I hang little stuff Xmas characters around their desks and along their shelves and also hang a Christmas hat garlands around their window ledge.
