Christmas Decorations / Themes / Coordinating etc etc

Is it naff or stylish to have your home decorated to a theme or colour scheme? I want some new Christmassy bits n bobs this year but not sure to go with odds and ends of what takes my fancy or maybe a stronger 'nordic' type theme or go royal purple and silver or something else entirely as style isnt my strong point.

Pretty much current decorations are a mish mash, fun and Christmassy but I do live in envy of people with more inspired decorations, ideas??

Personally I prefer the mish-mash of all colours, although there's nothing wrong with a bit of co-ordination if that's what you'd like to try. But no need to get too bothered if other colours creep in too - it's meant to be fun, not a department store display, so don't be a decor-zilla and you'll be fine :o
