Please help. My children are older and I can't think what would be suitable for an almost 2 year old. Budget is a tenner.

I like to buy non-toy gifts... aprons, cutlery, cushions, bunting etc etc

She has an older dd so loads of clothes / toys / books handed on already.

Any ideas??

Asda clothes very good price. Try next home for bedroom stuff I spose.

You do realise a cushion for a 2yr old seems a bit weird? That's a present for her mum not her.

Tesco does some god lets pretend good etc too

Food not good!

Thank you . Will have a look. I give kids a personalised cushion with their name on often! Lovely to have on their bed... or so I think Blush!!

A children's cake baking recipe book, so that she can bake with mum/dad. I know she's young at 2yrs old but she'll soon get the hang of it. You can get some lovely colourful kids recipe books.

colouring book & pens / sticker book

or picture books - can't go wrong as you can never have too many books

And I think a cushion is a lovely present, I have two DDs (aged 5 and 3) and both would love one - in fact the 5yr old has asked for a special cushion to put on her bed a few times!

or a toy tea set, 2yr olds always seem to love them

puzzles for that age are good

a kids towel and some bubble bath

Toddler sized set of Garden tools to help with some gardening? Tesco do a set for about £5.

Cookery/baking set. Never too young to learn!

DD2 is 2.5 and likes hair accessories.
Nice mirror for her room or a hand held mirrors like this? My DD would love decorating that.

Colouring books/craft supplies.

Yy to picture book. Or if you can find one a nursery rhyme/poetry treasury.

Cushion is a lovely idea.

My 2 year old loves boxes and bags to carry all her bits in. She loves packing a little suitcase with random stuff. I think H & M do some suitcases. Good for playing now and storage later?

Money box?

My two year old is obsessed with playing shops, so a pretend till, or even a purse with a "card" would be a good idea.
Or the tea set, some places (Wilkos?) have paint-your-own tea sets.

Thank you. had wondered about bath toys as they tend to not pass on so well...looked on amazon and quickly found a bath time tea set which caught my eye due to your tea set suggestions. Pleased with it. Thank you!

DD1 got this for her 2nd birthday and its been a firm favourite since. She's now 4 and loves singing the songs and following in the book.

The most used present ever I think! :)
