Lovely neighbours present!

Hi hope someone can help with idea for my lovely neighbours! They are a retired couple in their 70's and really lovely! They buy my dds a little something each year (up to £5 each) and we usually just get them some nice wine or biscuits but feel we should get them something a little more thoughtful!

Budget is up to £10

Not sure what their hobbies are so after something general! I like foods gifts but feel some of the sets you get these days are a little young for them and overpriced for what you get really?

Could your daughters make them some Christmas buns/ Christmas tree decorations/ Christmas cards? I imagine they would love that

Yes that's a good idea and I'm sure dds would enjoy that! Will goggle some ideas thanks :)

I got a lovely real mini xmas tree in a pot, decorated with little ribbons and decorations, tied with a nice ribbon bow around the pot for £8 last year from a local independent florist. I just went in with a budget and an idea of what I wanted. Was really nice and then in the new year I put it in a slightly bigger pot in the garden. Do you think they would like something like this?

Do they have family they see regularly? It may be the best gift you could give them would be an invite round for lunch/supper at some point during the holidays?

Or you could make your own food hamper very cheaply with nice xmas foods.

Ooooh I love both of those ideas!!! especially the Xmas tree- I never even considered nipping the garden centre! Thanks think I'll look into that!
