Dd's are 6 and 8 and have been using the useless knitted stockings for the past few years, i hate them as things get hitched up inside them. Where can i buy some nice stockings?

We got ours from our local garden centre, they are lovely. They are a bit more expensive but hoping they'll last!!

I made mine out of old jumpers... They are dead easy. I then sewed buttons and all sorts of stuff all over them. If they get badges from places, they pin them on.

I just cut out a rough stocking shape and just sewed round. Then I over sewed with red wool. They are a bit stretchy though!

I got a lovely one at TK Max. Might be worth a try?

Mamas and Papas. I've just bought for the dc and am recommending them to everyone, they are really lovely. I don't work for them or anything, honest! Grin
