Ds is 15 and I'm struggling to find small, cheap things to go in a stocking for him.
Any ideas, gratefully received.

Pound land for deodorant such as lynx, books, chocs.

Funny Christmas socks.

Hat and gloves (primani if you can get away with it!)

My teenage niece and nephew like perfume/aftershave but can't afford it, so I ask for samples from Boots or Department stores, (a 41yr old woman is much more likely to get them from a sale assistant!) and they always appreciate them. I build up a little stock on trips into town in the run up to Christmas...

Chocolate

Shower gel, deodorant (preferably anything but Lynx for the sake of anyone using the bathroom after said teenager)

More chocolate

Paperback books (DS goes for travel & thrillers, but there are lots of sport, humour etc possibilities)

Headphones

Underwear (Topman or fun stuff rather than Tesco or M&S)

More chocolate...

One of those Christmas tubs of mini cheddars, hula-hoops etc, or the yard-long packs of Jaffa cakes

Lottery type scratch cards.

Starbucks/costa/etc voucher.

Jar filled with favourite sweets.

boots or cinema/concert vouchers. Same goes for itunes or playstation network xbox credits or whatever. books or selection of comics if into dc world marvel stuff.

VoldemortsNipple · 13/10/2012 11:53

Xbox or PlayStation magazine. Was a big hit last year :)
Definately headphones. They go through them at a rate of knots here.
Novelty bed socks
Their favorite food. DD always gets Nutella. Ds1 always gets crunchy nuts wrapped up under the tree.
Poundland have reconditioned CDs. Great for earlier editions of bands they may like.
A little toy they loved from the past ie hotwheels or power rangers.
Don't forget the classics like chocolate coins or bubble bath. They wont be happy if things that were consistant when they were little have dissapeard.

I always get the travel size toiletries to go in ds stocking. There's usually 4 for £3.00 although I haven't bought any yet.
