Florists?

ObiWan · 10/10/2012 11:26

Ebay has nice cellophane.

Is florist stuff ok for wrapping foody things in? I was thinking of peppermint bark or gingerbread houses. :)

You can get little cellophane bags on ebay which are good for food.

AFAIK cellophane is cellophane. There arent food grades or anything.

HobbyCraft sell rolls of cellophane (various sizes) in different colours.
I'm sure nearer to Christmas they'll have patterned ones too! Grin

Phoenix cards sell food grade cellophane. Plain and patterned. I used it for my fudge last year.

I also found some clear cellophane bags in Morrisons last year. They were in packs of ten near the cake decorations.

Paperchase? Might also be expensive though.

I've just bought a role from Amazon for less than a fiver.

I bought a plain, clear roll last year from a local independent shop that sells stationery, art materials etc.

In the past I've also bought cellophane bags on ebay (Xmassy ones with holly on, or general party ones with balloons etc on). They're great for bags of fudge, small Xmas biscuits etc

I bought some covered in gold stars from Amazon last year. Masses of it for about £2z

If you have a Tiger shop nearby, they have large rolls of cellophane for a few quid.

Last year Lidl had big rolls, about 20 metres for 1.99 I bought two rolls, one plain and one with a snowflake design on. I'll be keeping a beady eye out for some more this year :)

Hobbycraft have it on rolls, or any other florist supplies place.

I've had cellophane bags from Lakeland - little triangular ones that you can tie up with a ribbon. Nice, but a bit pricey.

Rolls or little christmassy bags!
