Help with stocking fillers for 21 month old DD

i seem to be finding plenty for my 3.9 year old DD, but really struggling with DD2. She obviously has all of DD1s toys to play with. She's not really into colouring yet (well prefers to eat the crayons!!)

Her favourite toys at home are kitchen stuff which we have plenty of and shes just got into playing with her sisters baby, pretend to do its nappy etc.

Any suggestions please?

perhaps her own doll and pram set with a few accessories. a toy cash register to play shops with all the kitchen food?

Thanks lilqueenie. We've bought her a doll from the impending arrival of DD3, we've already got 2 buggys and a cash register... Hard because DD1 has collected most of it over the last couple of years.

We've bought her a toy travel cot for doll as her "main present" and I've bought her a game for under the tree. Just really struggling for little things for the stocking although some accessories for her doll would be good. We've got bottles, socks, cups etc.

I'm trying to wrack my brains as to what I bought DD1 a couple of years back...

For a stocking, things you need to buy anyway are good - toothbrush, pants, best etc. Also - Expandable flannel? Some happyland figures? Small book sets? A new reddy bear? DVD (Disney have a buy one get one free offer on Amazon just now)?

Thanks. Expandable flannel is a good idea, I've bought a toothbrush ready, we've got lots of happy land, books and she's not into tv at all which is a huge change to DD1!!!

I've found a doll changing mat and accessories on amazon... Wondering whether to get something like that and wrap up individually...?? Could also do with some saucepans for her kitchen which I suppose I could wrap individually. Hadn't thought of opening stuff up and wrapping separately before....

Bump - any other ideas? :)

Last year I bought ds new bath toys (rubber ducks and wind up) as they tend to go a bit manky so good even if you have them already!

Also we got cheap musical instruments about £1 each from tesco of all places- recorder, maracas (sp?) and bells

Proper kids size cutlery (metal) tk maxx had some... Ds has got robot ones.

Oh thank you - bath toys and cutlery would be perfect, we've got quite a few musical instruments.

Is TK Maxx cheaper than the supermarkets?

I just saw them there and bought them... It was £7 for knife, fork, spoon and little spoon. Think the rrp was £10. They are small but big enough to last a good few years!

I know studio cards do engraved cutlery sets but not sure of the price...

Character bubble bath. Character toothpaste. Bath toys, big girl pants, cool potty?!
cosy blanket? Slipper socks, little gloves, hat, scarf..Train whistle, comic, sweets/snacks etc
Home bargains is great for all of these things...much cheap tat at great cheap prices!

My son used to have dummies, and would get them in a stocking!

Last year DD was this age and we bought a mix of useful stuff like socks, toothbrush, expandable flannel and treats like chocolate coins, couple of books and stuff for her baby doll (bottle, clothes etc) but the biggest hit was this which she still uses every week!

about this age we got fabulous wooden play eggs from John Lewis for about a fiver that went in our youngest's stocking

also did rolling pin for play dough at a similar age
