I put this in 'food' too but now i see there is a Christmas topic! Any good cover-all books that will help me with all kinds of christmas grub? Or is there a winning combination?

i have used my Delia Smith Christmas book every year and have made loads from it. I love it.

Delia every time.

I love nigellas christmas, its fabulous.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 29/09/2012 14:13

Delia for me too.

Delia hands down every time. I did make Nigella's ham and one of her chutneys one year and both ended up in the bin. They were disgusting.

I'm a Mary Berry fan and love her Christmas cook book

Second Nigella's -her Christmas vodka is yum

Nigella's is great. DH didn't like turkey until he tasted a brined one.

I loathe Delia's style of writing. She's very patronising.

another fan of nigella.. mostly because each recipe has make ahead/freeze ahead advice. Delia is also quite good but not to my taste flavour wise iykwim
