My kids love audio books so I am hoping for some suggestions of ones we have not listened to. They make great stocking fillers! I have a 6 yr old DS and 9 yr old DD. Can be suitable for both to listen to together or individual recommendations. They loved listening to the Roald Dahl stories, Mr Gum, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Malory Towers, Jeremy Strong stories. They both hate anything scary! Any suggestions?

Mine love the Lily Quench books and the How to Train Your Dragon series (read by David Tennant in his lovely Scottish accent!).

Thank you, I hadn't heard of Lily Quench and they look ideal for DS, i'll add them to my list. Anymore anyone?

Michael Morpurgo ones are brilliant - and read by some incredible actors.
My DD is totally addicted to the Percy Jackson series (as are DH and I - we're all eagerly awaiting the next one due out in October). Quite expensive but very long.
What about Harry Potter read by Stephen Fry?
