I have two of the pricier perfumes on my gift list for friends/relatives (Stella and Dior J'adore) and I am determined not to get ripped off by the Boots gift sets this year (although I may get DH one 
) and was wondering if the department stores usually put on decent sales on their regular (not giftboxed) perfume in the run up to Christmas?
I have looked briefly online but both tend only to be a few pounds cheaper there than in the shops and I would have to pay delivery on top so not actually making a saving iyswim.
Does anybody have any perfume sale wisdom to impart?
