I was just wondering, as I am trying to get organised early this year and have visions of the DC announcing at the last minute 'all I want Santa to bring is xxxx'

I noticed that Furbys are making a reappearance this year, wonder whether they will be a hit?

Also noticed that Innotab and Leappad have new versions this year, sure these will be popular.

Anybody fancy having a guess, or pointing me in the direction of an article which lists them (I'm sure they are normally doing the rounds by now!)

I am particularly interested in age 7ish boys toys as I haven't had any good ideas on that front yet!

I think this nerf gun will be a hit, I hate guns but think maybe I need to relax my ban a bit DS would love it

If you want a Nerf gun and DS doesn't have any, don't spend £40 there are loads reduced quite heavily on Amazon at the moment I expect he'd like just as much.

Agree with you on that front Double, wouldn't pay that for what it is, and I think that one is a bit much for the first one in the house too, hopefully I can find one which is a little less... erm... full on?

There was a "Christmas in July" toy fair in, well, July - there's a writeup here, via Christmas UK with all sorts of tips and recommendations.

Think the apptivity toys are going to be popular, furbys too I think, I will be grabbing them early (still remember the bloody gogo hamsters!)

Oh and judging my luck, the hive toys will be sold out everywhere, dd3 is obsessed with the cartoon, I have to find them....

Moshi tat and Angry birds tat seem to be high on the toy shops lists at the minute - everywhere is full of little bits of plastic tat....

We have Nerf fights, they are fun, though DH gets a bit overcompetitive!
And DD a bit squealy.
You might want to buy a pack of extra 'bullets', they seem to disappear into a special Nerf-shaped black hole.

Moshi are bringing out a new limited edition DS game - that's my girls main pressie sorted!

Skylanders Giants is out in october, I've already pre-ordered one for DD2 just in case.

Monster high is going to be huge for the girls. Even my dd1 who will be 13 at Christmas is eyeing up the dolls, she says she wouldn't take them out of the boxes

Monster High stuff is already going for silly prices on fleabay because there's stuff available in the US that isn't here yet, and they deliberately bring out a series of dolls for a short time and discontinue them so that there's always new ones to collect. Those new Bratz dolls are total copies of them though.

They are, but dd2 has already turned her nose up at them.
